Part 2
Aerrow, Piper and Finn met up with the others on the bridge. But no one was at the helm. Quickly, Aerrow dashed his gaze around the bridge. His eyes finally fell upon Junko the Wallop. The half man, half rhino was essentially the strongman of the squad. But he was a kind soul at heart and a gentle giant in honestly. He was tending to a jittering mess of a person sitting in the corner of the room. Upon closer inspection, of course it was Stork. Stork, the Condor’s pilot, had always been a nervous and paranoid wreck at the best of times, let alone when something takes him completely off guard. Aerrow knelt down with the two of them. “Stork!? What;s wrong? What happened?” he asked with concern. Junko looked up from Stork momentarily to give Aerrow the low down. “Well, one minute, we were just happily minding our own business! And then! Something comes crashing into the window! Out of nowhere!”. “A-huh?” Aerrow listened, thinking this may just be another of Junko’s more exaggerated stories. Stork of course was, once again during his time with the crew, in no fit state to explain. Aerrow plugged deeper, “Go on?!”. Junko raised a chunky finger towards the bridge windows. “Just look! It’s still there!”. “Huh?” Aerrow and the others looked up and went to survey the window themselves.
One of the windows of the panoramic observation deck was heavily cracked. With something stiff impaled at the epicenter. Piper moved up to the window and examined the object. “It’s a weapon!” she started. Finn jumped behind Aerrow, likely expecting it to explode. “Not THAT kind of weapon.” Piper sighed. She began to pull and heave the item from the window, snapping it back and dropping a few shards of glass to the bridge floor with a chime. She held it up to the others, who looked on cautiously. “Guys relax, its a handheld.” Piper reassured them.
Laying in her hands was a solid looking baton. Along its length was a series of metal nodes leading up to a blue glowing ring at the end. Beneath the hilt was a finely crafted grip. Under that was a glimmering blue power crystal, locked in place by small clamps. “It’s a crystal powered weapon just like ours. Only Sky Knights and their squads use these.” Piper continued, trying to get her own head around the situation. “Well then why has it come crashing through our windshield? Did we fly through a fight?” said Aerrow, perplexed. “Maybe they were trying to give us a friendly hint not to stick around here long?” Finn assumed nervously, “What’s next? They gonna drop our skimmers on us!?”. Aerrow put a hand on Finn’s shoulder to calm him down. “Easy Finn, lets not jump to conclusions.”.
Stork had managed to summon the courage to approach the rest of the group now, looking over the weapon. “It’s a n-neat piece of equipment. Hm-Hm. I for one have certainly got the message.” he chattered through his teeth, jumping onto Finn’s idea with a twitch in his eye. “Now calm down everyone there has to be an explanation.” Aerrow said waving his arms lightly.
“That’s it!” Piper exclaimed. “What’s... it?” asked an ever confused Junko from across the room. “It’s a message!” Piper explained as she unraveled a piece of paper from inside the handle of the baton. “Someone’s sent a message out. Seems like a rather desperate delivery system though. How did they know we’d find it?”. Finn raised a hand in answer, “Uhm, I don’t think they did...” he said from across the bridge, looking out forwards onto the large twin ballasts of the Condor. He made note of one in particular, where a large flapping scrap of torn canvas was held wedged between two of the ship’s loose armour plates by some strings. “It’s an emergency balloon.” Finn declared, pointing it out to Aerrow. “Huh. They must have sent it out in a hurry hoping for anyone passing by to run into it.” Aerrow confirmed before turning back to Piper. “What’s it say?”.
Piper had already rolled the paper out onto the bridge table as the others gathered around. Flicking on a light to see it clearly, she read out loud. “Calling any possible help! Terra Equa is in severe danger from invaders and we have lost our time-pulse signal! If anyone receives this message, please please help us! Before its too late! Help us...”

Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.
